Measuring the effectiveness of multi-hazard early warning systems (MHEWS):
- Assessing the performance and scope of (current) hazard-specific and MHEWS, including how to quantify how many people have access to and benefit from a MHEWS;
- Return on investment of MHEWS and EWEA; and
- Assessing the integration of early warning systems (EWS) for individual hazards into MHEWS and the usefulness of a system specific to one hazard for other hazards/purposes.
